Maria & Tom Donnelly
Maria and Tom Donnelly serve as community chaplains in Cecil County, Maryland. Maria and Tom are non-profit leaders, missionaries with Assembly of God US Missions, and serve in the local church and in the community. Their community chaplaincy serves under-resourced students in the local elementary school, the aged in the local assisted living facility, and women and men at the local detention center. Maria is also an ordained minister, long-time educator, author, and evangelist. Maria and Tom have been married for 29 years and have served the Lord together ever since.
Through teaching and community outreach we can share the good news of Jesus, that he is the Lord, Savior, Friend, Helper, and Comforter of every person without regard of race, religion, background, lifestyle, economic or social status.

Our Mission is to reach those forgotten and save souls

Maria Donnelly Evangelistic and Preaching Ministry

Mental Illness
Maria teaches about mental illness in America and how to best handle the reality of mental illness in our homes, church and community. As a minister and parent who has experienced the effects of severe mental illness in her family, Maria will encourage others to believe God for strength and victory in the midst of the battle.
The Great Commission
Jesus has told us- His followers- to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. Maria’s vision is to equip the Body of Christ to use their gifts and talents to share the love and truth of Jesus and the Bible with others around them.
Salvation & Holy Spirit Empowerment
Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He told the disciples to wait for the Gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has been sent to give each of us power! Maria will equip you to walk in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Maria’s teaching will help you see truth of the Word, be a witness, and experience His anointing and presence in fresh ways.
US Missions Chaplaincy Ministry
Maria and Tom are US Missionary Candidates with the Assembly of God Department of US Missions. Faith, Hope, and Joy Ministries is a specialized community chaplaincy ministry. In addition, Maria and Tom are working to equip small and medium sized churches to develop outreaches in their local communities. They work to develop a church’s vision for evangelism as well as provide templates and helps for various ministries churches can do.
How We Reach the Community

Homework Helpers Program
A weekly homework program helping local elementary students with reading, writing and math while bringing encouragement in a fun atmosphere. Maria and Tom lead a team of volunteers to serve their local elementary school, as well as minister to families, faculty and staff whenever possible.

Faith & Fellowship for the Aged
Do you know as many as 60% of residents in institutional care never receive a visitor? Many care facilities do not have Sunday services or chaplaincy visits. We bring Sunday services to the aged in the local community as well as mid-week chaplaincy visits. Our Sunday services includes friendship and fellowship, prayer, song, and Bible reading. Our chaplaincy ministry brings much needed visits, encouragement, and prayer.

Second Chance Bible Study
We bring a weekly Bible study to the local detention center. Lives are changed and women are equipped to one day leave the detention center with a new life in Christ.

Maria Donnelly Ministries Evangelistic Services
Maria will bring you a powerful message on living an anointed life in Christ, overcoming shame and doubt and deliverance from the effects of life’s traumas.

Equipping Churches for Gospel and Community Outreach
Pastors work tirelessly discipling congregations, caring for their flock, and caring for the church. Some pastors are low staffed and do much of the work with their family or a handful of the faithful. Our vision is to bring support to pastors and equip their people to reach out into their community, until we see every neighborhood with a life-giving church at the center.

Danny’s Story
With special arrangements, Maria and Tom share their story of how God turned tragedy into triumph. They will inspire you to keep your faith even during the most difficult of circumstances. You will leave in awe of the Lord and determined to faithfully follow Christ.

Danny’s Story
Ministers, Missionaries, Mental Illness. We understand the challenges families experience with a loved one with a severe mental illness. God will give you the strength you need, however, the church must support families in the midst of the challenge of mental illness. Contact us. We can share our story and bring hope and understanding to your church.
Our 501C3 Non-Profit Ministry
Maria and Tom started Faith, Hope, and Joy ministries after mental illness, the pandemic, and tragedy came to their family. Why? Because the community needed the faith, hope, and joy that only Jesus can give.
The vision of Faith, Hope, and Joy Ministries is to bring Jesus to the community by sharing the truth of the Bible outside the church walls. We bring the love of God by meeting felt needs in the community. We serve students, teachers, the local detention center, correctional officers, local nursing homes, and elderly shut-ins.
